The Organization Committee of Jicable HVDC’25 is setting up a Young Researchers Contest to encourage the participation of students and young researchers.
Full-time engineering and science university researchers and PhD students are invited to submit abstracts[1] of their research work. . The topic of the abstract should fall within one of the program categories detailed within the Call for Papers.
Students and researchers whose abstracts are selected will be invited to present and explain their poster and answer questions at Jiacble HVDC’25. First author of selected papers will be exempted from registration fee.
Papers will be reviewed by a jury during the symposium on the base of the following criteria:

Originality of the research topic: The jury appreciates innovative and unique topics that provide a new perspective or explore under-researched areas.

Quality of the paper: This includes the clarity of writing, methodological rigor, depth of analysis, and relevance of the references used.

Oral presentation: The way the researcher presents their work is crucial. A well-structured and engaging presentation can make a significant difference.

Ability to answer questions: The jury also assesses the researcher’s ability to defend their work and respond appropriately to the questions, which demonstrates their mastery of the subject.
[1] The abstract must include the name(s) of the author(s), their affiliation, their country, and their email address, as well as the title of their proposed communication. The scientific and technical theme of the symposium to which this summary is related should be indicated. The summary is composed of a maximum of 500 words. The context of the research work must be presented, along with the main results obtained and any potential future perspectives that will be developed in the final paper if the subject is accepted. Commercial references are strictly prohibited.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
About the Abstract
The abstract must provide a detailed synopsis of the intended full paper (maximum 500 words) and should emphasize any innovative ideas. The context of the research work must be presented, along with the main results obtained and any potential future perspectives that will be developed in the final paper if the subject is accepted. Commercial references are strictly prohibited.

Important Deadlines

Notification of Acceptance: Authors of accepted abstract will be informed by June 1, 2025.

Participants must be under 35 years old as of October 2025 (conference dates).

Eligible participants include academic scholars or industrial engineers pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), and higher (Master's and PhD) not more than 2 years after their graduation
